Event Description:
Chabad of Wilmette will celebrate the Festival of Chanukah on Wednesday, December 17th by parading through Wilmette with a procession of 10 cars adorned with custom designed Chanukah menorahs popularizing the festival. The Menorah Parade will conclude with the lighting of an original bowling-pin menorah at this year’s Chanukah Bowl at the Wilmette Bowl.
The Parade will begin at 5:00 pm and will depart, under the watchful eye of the Wilmette Police Department, from Chabad of Wilmette, at 2904 Old Glenview Rd in Wilmette and loop its way through town until finally arriving at its destination to participate in an exciting family oriented Chanukah party featuring bowling, the lighting of the bowling pin Menorah, and lively music, as well as delicious latkes, a traditional holiday treat.
