Grab a sandwich and join Cook County Board of Review Commissioner Dan Patlak as he talks about commercial property taxes in New Trier. If you pay commercial property tax in Wilmette or Kenilworth, Dan will go over how the Cook County tax assessment process works.
Commissioner Patlak started with the Cook County Board of Review in 1999 and has been a Commissioner since 2010. Dan believes in empowerment of the taxpayer through education and communication. This will be a detailed presentation about the property tax system and the appeal process.
Prior to joining the Cook County Board of Review, Dan was a real estate Broker and a volunteer coordinator with Citizens Against Government Waste.
This 1-hour presentation with Q&A will be insightful and leave you understanding the Cook County property tax in a way you did not before.
