Lori Grove, president of the Maxwell Street Foundation, chronicles the history of Maxwell Street, its neighborhood and market, using rich visual images, interpretation, and anecdotes. This event is free and open to the public and part of the Wilmette Public Library’s One Book, Everybody Reads series, which is featuring Rosellen Brown’s historical novel, The Lake on Fire, this spring.
