Join Katherine Hamilton-Smith, the founding curator of the Teich Postcard Archives now at the Newberry Library, for her lecture looking at the documentary power and significance of picture postcards as well as the role Illinois played in their development.  Bring postcards from your own personal collection to the program and Ms. Hamilton-Smith can comment on their value and rarity.  While at the Museum, check out real photo postcards from the early 20th century in the new exhibit "Wilmette in Photographs, 1850-1950".
