The Wilmette Historical Museum will hold its Annual Meeting and lecture via Zoom on Sunday, January 30th, from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m.  John Jacoby, former Village President and Wilmette Beacon columnist, will discuss his recent book Wilmette at 150, a collection of essays on Wilmette.  Mr. Jacoby’s talk will explore the lost landmarks of Wilmette.  Learn about the stories of the significant buildings and other structures that are no longer in existence, including some of the oldest in Wilmette, such as the Big Tree and the Unity Church.  Copies of his book are available for purchase at the Museum's gift shop.

All are welcome to register for this free virtual lecture which will be preceded by a brief Annual Meeting of the Wilmette Historical Society. Reservations must be made at www.wilmettehistory.org.  You can email museum@wilmette.com or call (847) 853-7666 with any questions.
