Name: W.K. Power Networking Breakfast - SCORE Mentor Roundtable
Date: September 12, 2019
Time: 7:30 AM - 9:00 AM CDT
Event Description:
We will begin with open networking & intros from 7:30-8:00 am, followed by an interactive roundtable with a panel of experts from SCORE. The roundtable will center around the topic: "Problems Every Business Owner Should/Can Avoid."
The Chamber is partnering with the Wilmette Public Library & SCORE to present a special WK Power Breakfast featuring a panel of SCORE mentors.

For over 50 years, SCORE has served as America’s premier source of free business mentoring and education. As a resource partner of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), SCORE has helped more than 11 million entrepreneurs through mentoring, workshops and educational resources since 1964. As a best practice, SCORE mentors encourage their clients to bring potential problems/challenges to their mentoring sessions early on, rather than failing first, and then asking for help.

WK Breakfast participants are asked to come to the roundtable equipped with a specific business challenge to share with the SCORE panelists and colleagues.

Our SCORE experts and your business colleagues will provide insight and guidance on identifying and facilitating problem-solving to meet short-term and long-term business goals.

We will begin the morning with breakfast, open networking & intros, followed by the workshop at 8 am.

Participants will share a business challenge they are encountering. In the way the SCORE mentors encourage their clients to bring challenges up early on, rather than trying to solve problems on their own first, failing and then needing to find help.  SCORE mentors will provide insight and guidance on identifying and facilitating problem-solving to meet short-term and long-term business goals.
